Littleton, N.H. (July 2015) - Continuing to evolve their innovative survival solutions, Survive Outdoors Longer® introduces the next generation of survival tools for Spring 2016. The SOL® Traverse and SOL® Phoenix, are rugged, multi-functional survival kits designed to help during the unexpected. These items will be available in stores and online February 2016 and on display at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market booth 5017 in August 2015.

The new Survive Outdoors Longer Traverse ($20) is an all-in-one kit for survival, from water, shelter, signaling and fire. Weighing just 6.1 oz, the rugged aluminum kit includes an emergency blanket, Duct tape roll, fire striker and tinder Quik, water purification tablets and water bag, safety pins and survival tips. The Traverse measures 5.8” x 3.3” x 1.5” and features a unique locking latch system that allows for easy access but keeps the contents safe from water. The SOL Traverse is required equipment in every outdoor adventurers pack.
The next generation of the Survive Outdoors Longer tools, the Phoenix, ($25) is the most practical compact fire starting and cutting tool on the market with a great price point. The Phoenix incorporates 8+ survival tools into one small pocket knife size multi-tool. The contents include a fixed, serrated and drop point bladed knife, 3-7mm wrench, flat head screwdriver, Tinder Quik and flint striker, LED light and pea-less whistle.
